Job description

When you care deeply about the work you do, it’s rewarding to see it through from concept to completion. We partner with clients to provide both program management and construction management to strategize, plan, and implement projects that drive organizations forward. From hospitals and airports to university campuses, mass transit systems, water treatment facilities, mines, and wind farms, we've successfully managed thousands of projects.

Joining our team, turning visionary ideas into reality, will shape your future—and the future of your community.

We are strategizing, planning, and implementing projects that help clients achieve their organization’s objectives. Join our award-winning program management team and bring transformational project solutions to life.

Your Opportunity

Join a dynamic consulting environment supporting major healthcare capital redevelopment, operational readiness, and transition planning initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with hospital and healthcare leaders, guiding organizations through complex change to achieve safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to high‑impact planning, and serve as a trusted advisor during all phases of capital, activation, and transformation projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and transition planning for multi‑site, multi‑phase hospital redevelopment projects, including workflow redesign, readiness assessments, simulation planning, and activation preparation.

• Assess clinical and operational impacts of construction, renovation, and activation activities; identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; and develop actionable mitigation strategies.

• Develop high‑quality reports, tools, dashboards, and governance structures that support decision‑making and project oversight.

• Engage and collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical leaders, project sponsors, redevelopment teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project impacts.

• Facilitate working groups and planning sessions, providing coaching and mentorship to strengthen organizational readiness and resilience.

• Apply advanced project management methodologies to support planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation across complex redevelopment initiatives.

• Oversee interdependencies across IT, clinical operations, facilities, and support services to ensure seamless integration of new systems, workflows, and technologies.

• Provide expert advice on crisis management, contingency planning, and operational risk reduction during periods of disruption.

• Prepare concise written reports and deliver presentations to client teams, ensuring clarity, insight, and value‑added recommendations.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Strategic, systems‑level thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Deep healthcare operational knowledge with the ability to identify options, alternatives, and solutions that support client objectives.

• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust‑based relationships and lead diverse teams through change.

• Experienced in stakeholder engagement, change leadership, conflict resolution, and coaching.

• Innovative, adaptable, and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in fast‑paced environments.

• Proficient in MS Office, including advanced use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

• Comfortable working in a mobile, multi‑site environment with flexibility for travel and extended hours as required.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitals, including oversight of clinical or clinical support services.

• Demonstrated Director‑level experience in operational readiness for brownfield and greenfield redevelopment projects.

• Proven success leading large, complex, multi‑year redevelopment initiatives involving IT integration, workflow redesign, and operational transformation.

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation; Lean certification an asset.

• Current registration with a clinical regulatory body if applicable (e.g., CNO, CMRITO, CPSO).

• Experience with simulation‑based readiness planning, digital health implementation, or clinical informatics is an asset.

• Valid driver’s license and comfort working across office and client sites.
