Looking for : Babysitter & Family Helper for 5 year old daughter, French speaking if possible
Hello!
We are looking for an energetic, creative and patient babysitter to occasionally care for our 5 year old daughter and who can additionally help with some family tasks. Please read to the end and get in touch if you sense we would be a STRONG fit.
We would need help mostly on weekends. Occasional school pickup or evening. We live at Broadview and Gerrard (east end of Toronto) and are looking for someone with minimal commuting.
Our daughter loves making art, ripping through playgrounds, exploring nature, and playing pretend.
My husband is a software engineer and I’m a performing musician and music therapist. We have an older daughter who is 13 and a very sensitive cat. We try to live off-screens as much as possible. I am French Canadian and both children attend full French schools. We love books, nature, good coffee, cooking, exploring new places and spending time at the beach. Our babysitter from the past two years lives farther away now that we moved, though we maintain a close connection, and she can answer your questions about our family if you would like.
The type of person we are looking for :
Someone who is passionate in their life, who cares about living a healthy lifestyle, who is responsible and steady. A good communicator, who can align with our family’s way of doing things, and who will feel good coming into our home. Someone ready to really get to know our daughter and spend some great moments together. At least 1 recommendation from a previous family.
