Job description
Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Relational Security Services Supervisor to fill a Casual position at the GR Baker Memorial Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Supervisor, Relational Security Services is responsible for leading assigned staff on shift and communicating with the Manager on-call, after business hours, as required. The supervisor ensures that staff on shift adhere to departmental policies and procedures, maintain security of individuals and property, and enforce these standards in alignment with the direction of the Team Leader.

Qualfications
•Grade 12, Certification of Training Completion in Advanced Security Training.
• Three years of recent related experience including one year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Holds Valid BC Security Guard License with applicable handcuff endorsement.

Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to supervise.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
