Grounds Crew Summer Students are full-time returning Brock University students responsible forassistingthe full-time staff to ensure the appearance and maintenance of the 400-acre campus landscape is well maintained.
This position is rewarding but it is hard physical work and is vital for the overall appearance of the campus landscape. Tasks will include but are not limited to: grass cutting, trimming, weeding, picking up litter and garbage removal.
Please note the crewgenerally worka 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, from the beginning of May to the end of August.
KeySkills andExperience:
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including adverse conditions;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Returning full-time Brock University student;
Experience with landscaping and landscape maintenance tools and equipment (an asset);
Valid Driver’s License.
Compensation:
