This position is for a Level support role with global responsibility.
Data Application Support Group is part of the Enterprise Computing Data & Analytics Technology Organization at Brokerage. The team manage and support a variety of database and data related server applications like database change management, procurement and entitlement systems as well as desktop applications like DBArtisan, RapidSQL, PowerDesigner, DBeaver and database drivers. This position is for a Level support role with global responsibility.
Job Description:
We are looking for candidates who have operated in an SRE capacity and have relevant hands-on experience. The candidate should be capable of building and supporting reliable, scalable systems, with a strong preference for skills in automation, monitoring, and ensuring smooth service operations.
The role requires availability for weekend and on-call work on a rotation basis

Required skills:
• Minimum -year hands on experience with SRE.
• Minimum -year experience in one or more programming or scripting languages (, Python,Bash or Perl).
• Strong understanding of system design, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience in troubleshooting server and infrastructure applications.
• Strong UNIX/Linux knowledge including the ability to understand
the interaction between applications, hardware, and operating system and
to provide recommendations and suggestions related to troubleshooting and performance improvement.
• Experience with monitoring,logging, and alerting tools.
• Server and application deployments and task automation.
Desired skills:
• Experience in reporting and visualization tools, like Splunk, Tableau, SSRS.
• Knowledge and experience in SDLC and Automation, CI/CD, Github, Jenkins, Artifactory.
• Familiar with ticketing and issue tracking systems, ServiceNow, Jira
• Understanding cloud-based database, Snowflake, AzureSQL
