Job Purpose:

The SVP, TD SYNNEX Canada serves as the top executive leader for the Canadian business, with full P&L responsibility for approximately $6 billion in annual sales. This role drives revenue growth through B2B channels, sets the strategic direction for the Canadian organization, and oversees all aspects of operations. The position combines executive leadership with hands-on responsibility for sales strategy, vendor/partner management, and business development, while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives in a highly competitive and matrixed North American environment.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and deep knowledge of B2B/IT markets, combined with a servant leadership mindset, ability to scale operations, and collaboration across global and regional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to advance products and services in the Canadian market; lead annual budget process and organizational communications.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
Design and implement national/regional sales plans, set KPIs, and drive market share growth.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and resellers, manage contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure onboarding/reporting efficiency.
  • Business Development
Identify new opportunities, expand product density, manage sales pipelines, and provide market insights.
  • Financial Oversight
Manage budgets, analyze P&L, control expenses, and forecast revenue to ensure profitability.
  • Team Leadership
Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams across sales, product management, and marketing; foster a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Market Analysis & Innovation
Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and trends to inform strategy and drive innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, HR, IT, and corporate functions to optimize execution and agility.
  • Corporate Representation
Act as the primary liaison for global corporate leaders on all matters related to Canadian operations.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in B2B/IT with expertise in the channel or distribution. Preferred experience in hybrid technologies (e.g., cloud/edge), AI, or cybersecurity.
  • 10–15 years managing and supervising sales teams, including senior leadership.
  • Must have experience operating at a minimum of $1B+ business scale, with proven success navigating complex, high‑growth environments.
  • Must have a demonstrated track record of building and executing growth strategies, including GTM design and building high‑performing teams that elevate the business to its next stage.
  • Demonstrated strong executive presence, with the ability to confidently present to large internal and external audiences and command the room.
  • Must have a proven track record of building influential industry relationships, staying ahead of market trends, and applying those insights to shape business direction.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic, competitive market.
  • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
