English Language Data Annotator - Vancouver

Work Location: Vancouver, British Columbia; On-site
Work Schedule: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week), Monday – Friday;

Data Force by TransPerfect is currently looking for a Language Data Annotator with fluency in English to join our team in Vancouver, BC! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology. This role requires a high level of independence, adaptation, and accuracy – love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role!

Role Summary

The Language Data Annotator will analyze data in the language in question and identify potential issues. This data will be used to develop and improve the speech recognition capabilities of Artificial Intelligence systems.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyzing data in the English language

• Classifying and labeling information

• Meeting daily Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) as defined by management/supervisor

• Completing all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Role Requirements

• Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in the native language

• Good reading and comprehension skills in English. Ability to understand guidelines in English

• Good understanding of own country’s culture, familiarity with current affairs in that country

• Ability to meet daily quality standards

• Attention to detail

• Flexibility, ability to adapt and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently

• Ability to track, analyze, and report issues

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities

• Excellent time management

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
