Job description

The candidate we're seeking is best described as someone who:

• Capable of working independently
• Can communicate effectively to suppliers and internal teams
• Has a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
• Is highly organized and excels in time management

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in the following:
  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Excel and familiarity with pivot tables and vlookups
  • Cloud-based CRM software
  • ClickUp project management software

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts Payable
  • Accurately record vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Access and manage vendor portals to retrieve and document monthly invoices
  • Reconcile user credit card transactions and expense accounts and facilitate related payments
• Accounts Receivable
  • Process customer payments through Salesforce from various Point of Sale systems (Stripe, OTTPay, Elavon, etc)
  • Reconciliation to monthly credit card processing statements
• Payroll
  • Working closely with Human Resources, regarding employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Experience with cloud-based payroll systems
  • Preparing payroll reports and payroll processing as needed (backup)

Compensation:

• Compensation - $25-35 / hour
• Experience dependent

JOB TYPE, SCHEDULE AND WORK LOCATION

• Part-time permanent role
• Hybrid remote position: 3 days total - 2 days per week in office, 1 day remote work from home
