Job Summary

Markham Painting is looking for motivated, outgoing individuals to join our team as Outdoor Marketing Representatives (Door-to-Door Canvassers).
No prior experience is required — just a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

In this role, you will represent Markham Painting by speaking with homeowners, generating leads, and scheduling free painting estimates.
This position offers hourly pay while allowing you to build valuable real-world sales, communication, and interpersonal skills in a fun, supportive team environment.

About the Role

This is a door-to-door marketing position working in Markham neighbourhoods.
You will introduce our residential painting and wood staining services and create interest with homeowners.
Full training is provided on lead generation, objection handling, and booking estimates directly at the door.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work with strong earning potential.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Engage with homeowners in designated Markham neighborhoods
• Introduce Markham Painting’s services in a friendly and professional manner
• Generate qualified leads and schedule free painting estimates
• Build rapport and create a positive customer experience
• Record contact information accurately
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly lead goals
• Participate in brief sales and communication training sessions
• Report lead activity and results to team leaders
• Represent the company professionally and contribute to a motivated, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

• No experience required — full training provided
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with new people
• Strong communication skills or willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods
• Coachable and team-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites
