POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, answering and directing calls, and providing general administrative support. This role ensures smooth front-desk operations while delivering a professional and welcoming experience to clients, employees, and partners.
You will be a central point of contact and contribute directly to the efficiency and image of the organization.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate person or department;
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring requests are handled efficiently;
- Manage reception area to ensure it remains professional and organized;
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries;
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings;
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation;
- Support managers and team members with general administrative tasks;
- Contribute to maintaining a professional, organized, and customer-focused office environment.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in reception, customer service, or administration (experience from internships, retail, or hospitality is considered an asset);
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic office software;
- Interest in learning new technologies and tools, including AI-powered solutions;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written); functional English (Bilingualism is an asset);
- Ability to manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
