Nanny Wanted - Hiring Nanny & Household Assistant For Daytime In Burlington Also Hiring Part Time Occasional Evening/Weekends

Our current nanny / household assistant will be leaving us soon as she is starting her own family. So we are looking for a replacement for 30-40 hours a week (daytime) as well as someone for occasional evening and weekend shifts (this could possibly be covered by the same person if interested but could also be a separate part time person for the occasional evening / weekends). Full-time role starts by May 4th.

We're a warm, close-knit family, with two children aged 11 months and 6 years. We're seeking someone for a diverse role as an integral part of our daily routine. We need an organized, efficient, and caring individual who can smoothly transition into the role and integrate into our daily life.

The mix of duties can change day to day but a substantial portion of your job responsibilities (60%) will involve taking care of household tasks, alongside childcare duties (40%), in collaboration with mom who is on maternity leave. Housekeeping duties include managing the kitchen - keeping it clean, planning meals, prepping and cooking, as well as laundry, general tidying, and handling various other household projects and tasks. We would prefer someone who naturally takes charge of maintaining a clean and organized environment, and likely someone who has an interest in cooking.

Our schedule typically involves mornings (7, 730, or 8am start) through into the afternoon from Monday to Friday. There are also occasional opportunities for additional hours in the evenings or on weekends if interested.

We currently reside near Third Line and Upper Middle Road in Oakville, but we will be relocating to Burlington, near Brant St. and upper middle soon. We are hoping to find someone interested in a long-term role who can make this journey with us, but will consider summer only candidates if they are the best fit for our family.
