Location: Hybrid role in Ontario. Must be able to visit the office in Richmond Hill once per month

The Role

As a Property Claims professional, you will manage low to moderate severity claims from start to finish, delivering fair outcomes while providing an excellent customer experience.

What you will do:

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property claims
  • Interpret policy wordings, legislation, and confirm coverage
  • Conduct investigations including statements, vendor coordination, and contractor consultations
  • Assess liability, salvage, and subrogation opportunities
  • Manage communication with all parties throughout the claims lifecycle
  • Review losses to ensure proper assignment and file quality
  • Respond to client complaints and appeals professionally and effectively
  • Set appropriate reserves based on exposure and authority
  • Review independent adjuster files when required
  • Prepare reports and support special projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • 2 to 5 years of property claims handling experience, plus customer service experience
  • CIP designation completed or in progress
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Career-minded with a clear interest in long-term growth

Salary range is $60, 000 to $75, 000.
