The Pod Group is partnering with this amazing organization to place a hands-on, detail oriented and kind Manager, Community Integration.

WHY YOUR ROLE MATTERS🔍

The Manager, Community Integration provides strategic oversight and leadership to internal and external programs supporting youth within a Housing First for Youth framework. This role leads the Community Integration team in delivering high-quality, youth-centered services that build the skills, confidence, and capacity needed for successful transitions into housing, long-term housing stability, and improved life skills.

The Manager is responsible for program design, implementation, quality assurance, and partnership development, ensuring services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with best practices in youth homelessness prevention. Working collaboratively across departments and with community partners, the Manager ensures programs effectively support youth in areas such as tenancy readiness, housing maintenance, independent living skills, community connection, and overall well-being, while monitoring outcomes and continuously improving service delivery.

  • Support youth skill development in areas such as tenancy readiness, housing maintenance, independent living, community connection, and overall life skills
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and external community agencies to enhance service coordination and outcomes for youth
  • Monitor program outcomes, service quality, and performance indicators to ensure accountability and continuous improvement
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development to Community Integration staff
  • Ensure programs comply with organizational policies, funder requirements, and relevant legislation
  • Compile statistical information and prepare monthly reports as required for program evaluation and development.
  • Champion youth voice and choice in program design and service delivery
  • Participate on committees and task forces as required with other agencies addressing issues facing youth.
  • Foster and model the importance of connection and belonging in building a positive and supportive work environment, using decolonized and anti-racist frameworks, to all staff.

Housing Stability & Landlord Engagement

  • Contribute to planning, reporting, and evaluation related to youth housing and community integration initiatives
  • Provide oversight of housing support services that assist youth in securing, transitioning into, and maintaining safe and stable housing

  • Oversee housing-related supports such as move-in planning, tenancy sustainment, and coordination of housing stabilization resources
  • Address housing-related risks proactively by supporting early intervention strategies to prevent evictions and housing loss
  • All other duties as required in the successful management of program operations while partnering with all stakeholders in support of organizational success.

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation while supporting an on-call rotation.
