Accounting Clerk- Accounts Payable

Servus is growing! We are currently looking for a Accounting Clerk in our Accounting department in Edmonton.

The Accounting Clerk is a member of a dynamic administration team and plays an integral role in the accounting functions of the organization. Under general direction, you will provide support to the Accounting department.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• MS Office (Excel / Word) :   Basic skills include : copy / paste, basic formulas, formatting, saving, track changes, basic hyperlinks, sort, filter, group, spell / grammar check, views, protection.
• Microsoft Outlook :   Basic Skills : email, book meetings, file email, book resources, use task lists etc.
• Work within deadline.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Work well with others either inside or outside department.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and high quality standard of work produced.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate Computer Skills, includes but is not limited to : Understanding of PC, moving files, copying, internet usage etc.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn.
• Basic Investigative skills to complete work including : id of variances, ability to look up in system(s) the detail.
• Understand and apply corporate Policies.
• Understand change and the reasons for it.
• Understand invoice processing.
• Understand Accounts Receivable.
• Understand expense claims.
• Understand lease bookings.
