Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Concord, ON. Interested?
Here's what you'd do : -Adhere to corporate safety policies and procedures.-Perform PM Duties on equipment per the PM Schedule.-Troubleshoot hydraulic problems and repair.-Troubleshoot electrical / electronic problems and repair.-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.-Record corrective action.-Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.-Record repairs on PM forms.-Provide proper lighting to work areas.-Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product, process, or quality system nonconformance.-Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, or quality system.-Ensure that daily machine inspections are complete and that they are logged.-Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.-Verify the implementation of solutions.-Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.-Wear all safety PPE, Shoes, Gloves, Safety Glasses, Mask, and ear muff when and wherever needed.-Ensure to follow the LOTO procedure when and wherever needed.-Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills / Qualifications : -High School Diploma or GED.-Minimum of 10 years of experience performing maintenance on injection molding machines in the plastics industry.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Maintenance Certificate / Millwright / Electrical or Electronic Certificate.-Ability to read and write English.-Strong knowledge of reading electrical diagram schematics.-Strong knowledge of reading hydraulic schematics.-Capable of troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic-related issues.-Capable of basic machining and welding.-Understanding of WHMIS.-Strong understanding of Injection machines, including auxiliary equipment.-Basic understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 company quality & environmental policies and expectations-Knowledgeable in using Forms, Tags, and Labels governing job function.
