PAL Airlines is currently recruiting for a Manager, Commercial to join our team in St. John's, NL.

In the role of Manager, Commercial you will be responsible for:

• Support the Program Director with reporting, performance dashboards, and preparation of materials for client reviews.
• Monitor operational and commercial performance against contractual requirements, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a responsive, customer focused point of contact for internal teams and the client program, ensuring timely communication and followthrough.
• Support the Director of Commercial Operations in commercial analysis, forecasting, and planning activities that support network optimization and program performance
• Learn and interpret relevant regulations, collective agreements, and company policies to help design efficient compliant use of resources.
• Contribute to the team in developing and selecting recovery strategies that best utilize available resources—whether the day runs as expected or requires rapid operational adjustments.
• Build strong working relationships with all groups within the company as well as the broader flight network community.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational reliability, customer experience, and program performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline considered a preferred asset.
• 2-3 years management experience in a related field considered a preferred asset.
• Excellent logistics and planning abilities, with comfort working in complex operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and operational processes.
• Experience working within the parameters of collective agreements considered a preferred asset.
• Experience supporting client facing programs and performance reporting a preferred asset.
