Job description
We are currently seeking highly skilled and dedicated Live-in Concierges to join our team at our residential properties downtown Montreal.As a Live-in Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our residential property. This is a full-time live-in position, with benefits and amodation that will be provided on-site.Responsibilities:
  • Plumbing and Electrical Repairs:
    Perform routine and emergency plumbing and electrical repairs within the residential property.
  • Paintingmon Areas:
    Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property by participating in painting and touching up projects.
  • Maintenance Inspections:
    Perform regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly. This includes daily exterior grounds andmon area inspections, weekly vacant unit checks, daily mechanical room inspections with logbook signatures, and annual unit inspections.
  • Maintenance Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, repairspleted, materials used, and any additional relevant information. Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or required restocking.
  • Respond to Tenant Requests:
    Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and repair requests promptly and professionally. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    Assist in implementing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program to ensure the longevity and functionality of building systems, equipment, and appliances. Perform regular inspections and adjustments as necessary.
  • Health and Safetypliance:
    Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Report any safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate supervisor or management.
  • Cleaning:
    Conduct regular cleaning ofmon areas, including but not limited to hallways, elevators, laundry rooms, and othermunal spaces. This includes daily property grounds inspection and cleaning, as well as property garbage responsibilities.
  • On-Call Services:
    Responding to after-hours emergencies at the property as required.
  • Tenant Move-ins: Assist with tenant move-ins, including managing elevators and handling off keys.
  • Maintenance Tickets: Receive, prioritize, and address maintenance requests from tenants or property managers by logging them, coordinating necessary repairs, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ad Hoc Work: Perform other maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in plumbing, electrical repairs, and general maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and tools related to plumbing, electrical work, and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and amitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license is an asset.
  • Fluent in English and French.

Il s’agit d’un poste à temps plein, résident sur place, avec logement fourni et avantages sociaux.ResponsabilitésRéparations de plomberie et d’électricité : Effectuer des réparations régulières et d’urgence en plomberie et en électricité dans la propriété.Peinture des airesmunes : Participer aux travaux de peinture et de retouches pour maintenir l’apparence des espaces communs.Inspections d’entretien : Effectuer des inspections régulières de la propriété afin de repérer et corriger rapidement tout problème.• inspections quotidiennes des terrains extérieurs et des airesmunes• vérification quotidienne de la salle mécanique avec signature du registre• vérification hebdomadaire des unités vacantes• inspection annuelle des unitésTenue des dossiers d’entretien : Tenir des registres précis des activités d’entretien et de réparation (bons de travail, matériaux utilisés, réparations effectuées, inventaire). Signaler tout besoin de réapprovisionnement.Répondre aux demandes des locataires : Répondre rapidement et professionnellement aux demandes, préoccupations et requêtes de réparation. Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle.Entretien préventif : Participer à la mise en œuvre du programme d’entretien préventif visant à assurer la durabilité des systèmes, équipements et appareils du bâtiment.Santé et sécurité : Respecter tous les protocoles de sécurité, incluant le port de l’équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) lorsque requis. Signaler tout risque ou danger.Nettoyage : Effectuer le nettoyage régulier des airesmunes (corridors, ascenseurs, buanderies, etc.).prend le nettoyage quotidien des terrains et la gestion des déchets.Service sur appel : Répondre aux urgences hors des heures régulières, au besoin.Emménagements des locataires : Assister aux entrées des nouveaux locataires, gérer l’ascenseur et remettre les clés.Billets de maintenance : Recevoir, prioriser et traiter les demandes d’entretien des locataires ou des gestionnaires, coordonner les réparations et assurer leur résolution rapide.Tâches connexes : Effectuer toute autre tâche d’entretien requise.Qualifications• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent• Expérience démontrée en plomberie, électricité et entretien général• Connaissance des systèmes de bâtiment, équipements et outils liés à l’entretien• Excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à gérer efficacement les priorités• Très bonnes compétences enmunication et relations interpersonnelles• Souci du détail et engagement envers un travail de haute qualité• Bonne forme physique, capacité à effectuer des tâches manuelles et à soulever des charges lourdes• Permis de conduire valide (un atout)• Bilinguisme anglais et français
