Management Accountant

• A formal accounting qualification in the form of a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution or a Bachelor degree in other disciplines (such as Economics Health Commerce etc.) together with substantial and relevant experience in financial and/or management accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing analysing and presenting high-quality management and financial reports that accurately reflect organisational performance and support both executive and operational decision-making.
• Proven ability to interpret financial and operational data to provide sound advice on the financial implications of business decisions including the development of financial models scenario analysis and performance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerBI or similar Microsoft 365 Microsoft Excel including the use of complex formulas financial models pivot tables Power Query and data validation with the ability to import transform and analyse large volumes of transactional data to produce accurate and meaningful financial insights.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders and influence effective decision-making.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in the Health Care industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare financial environments including clinical costing casemix activity-based funding and compliance reporting requirements or the ability to rapidly acquire and apply this knowledge.

Salary Classification: Health Services Manager Level 2.
