What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte's Workplace Services team is seeking a Workplace Services Professional for the Toronto office. In this role, you will collaborate with the Workplace Services Manager, Workflow Coordinator, Receptionist, and various service delivery teams to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the office. Responsibilities include performing general clerical tasks that require accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to established office procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a general office environment and be familiar with standard office practices. Key duties include delivering high-quality customer service, supporting office maintenance, assisting with facilities and health and safety programs, and providing coverage for the mailroom and reception as needed.

Practical knowledge is required for delivering excellent office support services including:

• Collaborate with team members and the Workplace Services Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of daily office operations.
• Deliver a high-quality customer service to staff, clients, and external guests, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe office space by conducting regular supply checks, restocking, walkthroughs, and deficiency reporting.
• Assist with office supply inventory, including coordination of redistribution to ensure adequate stock levels across the workplace.
• Support health and safety initiatives by updating signage and participating in health and safety inspections.
• Assist with facilities management through routine walkthroughs and prompt reporting of issues to local facilities teams.

About the team

Members of the Workplace Services team apply practical knowledge to deliver a range of office support services, including facilities management, mailroom operations, reception and concierge services, and resource management. The Workplace Services role leverages expertise in these functional areas, as well as an understanding of the organization's business practices, to provide services that ensure the organization operates safely, efficiently, and effectively.

You are someone with:

Required:

• 1-2 years of work experience in facilities, customer service, event services or hospitality.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work within a shift schedule between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (8.5 hour time period daily).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task and be a positive team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $33,000 - $60,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
