Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday;standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Project: This project aims to provide a centralized platform using the ServiceNow Service Request workflow for internal application development teams to manage and store records of Application Security Assessment/Approval, which could be further integrated with other Enterprise processes such as OR, TRA, Release Management, Change management, Checkmarx, BlackDuck, Synk/Probely, NowSecure, Bitbucket and Jira.

These positions are required as part of the SNOW/AppSec Assessment project.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a highly visible project and would get the chance to further enhance their skills with the ServiceNow platform.
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.G. - ServiceNow, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP Integrations) to support business requirements on the Service Now platform.

Typical Day in Role:

• Experience in Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for Application Security Assessment Processes.
• Configure complex ServiceNow Service Catalog flow to meet business requirements using Flow designer.
• Lead the development and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other internal/external systems (EA, OR, TRA, DPR, CHG, INC, Checkmarx, BlackDuck, Synk/Probely, NowSecure, Bitbucket and Jira) using various methods (e.G., REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server).
• Design and build Service Request workflows, scoring methodologies, entity scoping, and Risk Assessment Methodologies (RAM).
• Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and trends, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation and operation of the solutions.
• Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop and manage script objects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Flows/Workflows.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 8-10 years of experience as an IT Developer.
2. 5+ years of development experience in ServiceNow with hands-on experience with Service Now troubleshooting and developing the solution within the Service Now platform.
3. 5-7 years of Hands on experience with JavaScript
4. ServiceNow Advanced System Administration certified, or training is a Must
5. 3+ years of experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
6. Hands on experience in working on the Service Now platform as a developer using ACL's, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Rest and SOAP.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platforms
2. Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
3. Previous experience with ServiceNow Integrations with third party application is highly preferred
4. Possess in depth knowledge of single large or multiple small applications
5. Ability to work on systems integration projects
6. ITIL Foundation certification or training
7. Developer(CAD) and ITIL training or certification is nice to have

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or experience in the related field

Best VS. Average Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a strong ServiceNow Developer with strong system integration experience. Experience in ServiceNow for more than 5 years and has worked on ServiceNow transformation project. Previous experience with Application Security Assessment Process implementation projects in highly preferred. Recent experience with Solutions design is very nice to have.
