Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate has strong hands?on experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript), container orchestration, CI/CD tooling, networking, security best practices, and automation frameworks. This role is critical for designing, building, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high?performance cloud environments.
Role Responsibilities
Cloud Engineering & Architecture
Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures on AWS using best practices for reliability, scalability, and security.
Work extensively across AWS services including:
VPC, EC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB.
Apply strong understanding of networking, cloud security, access control, and architectural patterns.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript).
Implement IaC pipelines for repeatable, secure, and automated provisioning.
Drive automation initiatives across monitoring, performance tuning, and operational workflows.
DevOps & CI/CD
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
GitHub Actions
AWS CodePipeline
Jenkins
Support container-based deployments with ECS/EKS, Docker, and microservices patterns.
Observability & Performance Optimization
Enhance observability through monitoring dashboards, alerts, log analysis, and system metrics.
Optimize cloud workloads for cost, performance, and reliability.
Essential Skills
years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or backend development.
Strong hands-on expertise across core AWS services:
VPC, EC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB.
Deep experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript) for infrastructure-as-code.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, cloud security principles, and AWS architectural best practices.
Experience with automation, observability tools, and performance optimization.
Desirable Skills
Exposure to cloud-based automation testing practices.
Experience with data modeling or cloud-native application patterns is a plus.
