Senior Data Governance and Data Steward

Position Description:

We are seeking a mid to senior-level data governance and data steward to organize, train, and activate data governance in embedded stewardship teams. Help leaders implement data domain driven governance by structuring working stewardship communities for succes

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Promoting Data Governance Standards: Advocate and socialize global data governance standards for domain driven stewardship teams.
. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Organizing, forming, and training data domain stewardship communities utilizing data management capabilities of Reference Data, Data Access, Data Quality, Metadata and Data Cataloging.
. Guiding Stewardship Teams: Help teams identify gaps and opportunities, identify critical data elements, and prioritize projects with the biggest impact to the business.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience and Expertise

. 5+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
. Proven experience in facilitating team discussions and decisions.
. Ability to run training sessions as it relates to data management capabilities.

Technical Skills

. Experience with Data Catalog tools (Collibra, Alation)
. Experience with Master Data Management tools (Reltio)
. Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Soft Skills

. Excellent customer and stakeholder management.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical members of the business.
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
