Job Description
Sinai Health is looking for a Nursing Clinical Manager to provide onsite administrative leadership support after hours and on weekends. The role is located at our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.
This role will facilitate the timely movement of admitted patients to the most appropriate in-patient unit to meet their care needs. Working in collaboration with members of the on-call team, managers, team leaders, infection control and members of the interdisciplinary team and physicians, the NCM will ensure that the organization is able to optimize bed utilization and assure a positive patient experience by supporting the right bed is assigned at the right time. The role provides general oversite to clinical operations to assure business continuity. This role will report to the Senior Clinical Program Director, Urgent and Critical Care. In addition to supporting patient flow and bed management, the NCM will assure standards of nursing practice are maintained, they will help support patient experience, address staffing issues and provide incident management leadership.
