Position Overview
The Sr. Financial Analyst - MSRM position at General Mills Canada Corporation is accountable for the financial management, oversight, and partnership for Market Strategy & Revenue Management of the Meals & Baking Business Unit (M&B BU). This role provides financial thought leadership to enable the delivery of short- & long-range strategic objectives for the MSRM- M&B team through planning and execution. Acting as an integral role between BU and Sales teams, this role partners closely with both the RM Manager and MS Manager positions on the M&B business to support the strategy & execution of the M&B portfolio.
This role has ownership over the monthly trade forecast for the M&B business, while partnering with both the sales & BU finance teams, playing a critical role of end-to-end organizational communication from strategy through to execution. The right candidate will have a holistic understanding of the P&L with a focused expertise in pricing, merchandising & trade mechanics to support forecast accuracy and agile decision-making. This candidate will be an expert in managing ambiguity, thrive in an agile environment and can make the complex simple. The role requires the ability to take a proactive approach in managing & simplifying competing priorities while also being able to simplify complex financial modelling in a succinct manner for organizational stakeholders.
