Feeder Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in fabrication and assembly, is seeking a Feeder Machine Operator to join their team. As a Feeder Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Feeder Machine Operator

Location : Milton, ON

Pay Rate : $22 - $25 per hours based on experince

Day shift :  7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Monday to Friday

Afternoon shift :   1 : 30pm - 10 : 00pm Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

Safely operate fabrication equipment such as shearing, punching, and bending machines based on training and standard procedures.

Perform pre-start safety checks on machines and report any concerns to supervisors.

Set up machines to ensure all safety guards and interlocks are functioning properly and hazards are eliminated.

Utilize software tools like Dynamic Machine Management (DMM) and drawing vault software to view and print fabrication drawings.

Monitor machine operation to prevent jams, clear blockages, and ensure proper lubrication of materials.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least one year of experience operating fabrication machinery such as shearing, punching, or bending machines.

Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and layouts.

Good digital skills, including proficiency with MS Office (Word & Excel).
