Controller

Our client, based in the Vaudreuil area, is seeking a CPA with over five years of experience in a manufacturing and inventory-driven environment. This role offers strong growth potential within the division, including the opportunity to assume supervisory responsibilities. The position provides a high level of flexibility, with predominantly remote work and an in-office presence required only 1–2 times per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with ASPE.
• Prepare sales and environmental tax remittances, year-end payroll filings, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal accounting systems and ensure the accuracy of financial records, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Assist with budget preparation, develop financial forecasts, and track performance against approved budgets.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial systems.
• Perform financial analyses to support informed decision-making.
