Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings expertise across multiple marketing disciplines. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and the Regional Digital Marketing Team, you will collaborate on developing and executing digital campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and optimize the brand’s online presence to drive engagement. What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Brand, Digital & Content Strategy
Lead content creation that brings our transformation to life—curating compelling storytelling across all digital platforms and social mediaDevelop and execute multi-channel campaigns that showcase our renovated spaces, immersive guest experiences, and luxury positioningManage our digital presence, including website optimization, OTAs, Google My Business, and SEO strategies to maximize direct bookingsCollaborate with creative agencies, photographers, and videographers to maintain a high-quality brand aestheticSocial Media & Engagement
Manage and grow our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) with a focus on engagement, brand storytelling, and influencer partnershipsDevelop and execute social media activations and campaigns that align with repositioning milestones and hotel events and activationsTrack and report on social media KPIs, engagement, and campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on insightsRevenue-Driving Digital Marketing & Creative Assets
Implement and manage paid digital marketing campaigns (social ads, display, and search ads) in collaboration with revenue management and Regional MarketingBuild and optimize our hotel’s brand website, microsite, and OTA listings to enhance visibility and bookingsDesign, create, and produce visual assets within Fairmont brand guidelines for digital and print materials, including brochures, e-blasts, event promotions, and property signageOversee email marketing strategy to drive direct bookings and guest engagementPublic Relations Support, Partnerships & Event Marketing
Work across departments to promote activations, ancillary revenue-driving campaigns and event activationsCollaborate with PR Manager on influencer stays and press-related events, ensuring the best storytelling opportunities are captured and shared across channelsSupport cross-department promotions to drive incremental revenueActively participates in committees that support Employee Engagement across the resortOther duties as assignedQualifications
Your experience and skills include :
3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brandsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or a combination of education and experienceStrong brand storytelling skills with experience managing digital content and social mediaAdvanced knowledge of Content Management Systems, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva), WordPress, and Microsoft 365Hands-on experience with marketing analytics tools (GA4 certification is a plus)Excellent copywriting skills for social media, website content, and marketing materialsExperience managing PR, influencer partnerships, and media outreach an assetA self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionallyExperience in graphic design, photography and video editingFlexibility to work weekends and evenings to support activations as requiredWillingness to relocate to Jasper, Alberta (or Jasper-based)Your Team And Working Environment
