Escape Fire Protection is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support the growth of our Service Division. This role is focused on developing and expanding service-based revenue, including inspections, testing, maintenance, deficiency repairs, and small upgrades. The successful candidate will be relationship-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a technical, service-oriented environment.

Areas of Accountability
- Develop and grow service-based revenue across inspections, testing, maintenance contracts, deficiencies, repairs, and small upgrades
- Build new client relationships while expanding opportunities within existing accounts
- Identify recurring service and inspection opportunities with property managers, facility managers, strata corporations, building owners, and general contractors
- Prepare service quotes, proposals, and pricing for inspection deficiencies
- Track sales activity, follow-ups, and pipeline progress using CRM tools
- Meet or exceed sales targets as established by management
- Work closely with operations, service coordination, and field teams to ensure smooth handoff from sale to execution
- Conduct site walks, scope reviews, and client meetings as required
- Act as a trusted point of contact by identifying compliance concerns and recommending practical solutions
- Support long-term service agreements and recurring revenue programs
- Stay informed on fire protection codes, service requirements, and regulatory changes
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings and industry events
The Person
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within construction, mechanical, facilities, fire protection, or other service-based industriesFire protection or fire service industry experience is considered a strong assetDemonstrated ability to build relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and close businessComfortable reviewing scopes of work and coordinating with technical teamsStrong communication, organization, and follow-up skillsProficiency with CRM systems, estimating tools, and Microsoft OfficeValid BC Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstractCompensation & Benefits
