Under the direction of the Provincial Sales Manager, the District Manager is accountable for maintaining and managing the relationships with several existing accounts, as well as developing new business opportunities in their region. They will work alongside the Marketing department to ensure the successful execution of their programs.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Promotes and increases sales within territory through aggressive execution of national and regional marketing strategies while working with company policies, resources and budgets
- Increases overall distribution of core and agency brands with vendors and licensees
- Manages new product launches
- Executes merchandising and promotional programs as per national and regional strategies
- Call account tracking and administrative reports
- Attains sales objectives as outlined by the company
- Manages advertising and promotion budget within fiscal allocations as outlined by regional office
- Functions cooperatively and effectively within a team environment while contributing to overall team objectives and dynamics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in territory management (in bar/restaurant would be an asset)
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Self motivated and self directed
- Team player
- Must have a valid drivers' license
- Bilingual French/English is a MUST
- Must be flexible to work evenings according to events
