Compensation

Key Purpose
As Building Operator you will operate, maintain, and perform repairs on all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting equipment and controls, Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC), Chilled Water Systems, Air Handlers, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Air Handler Units (AHU), Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems, Fan Coil Units (FCU), refrigeration equipment and various other mechanical, electrical, and building systems in such a manner as to ensure optimal conditions.
The Building Operator will provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for building systems of other facilities as assigned or directed.
Work Hours
Mon - Fri + Weekends, 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm.

5 to 10 years related technical experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceGraduation from program in technical emphasis from a community or regional collegeMinimum of 5 years’ experience in O&M and / or building Engineering rolesStrong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and Computerized Maintenance Management SystemsExperience with subcontractor and vendor contract managementExperience with managing key performance indicators as provided by Facility ManagerExperience with capacity planning and reportingAble to use hand tools, test equipment, and knowledge of maintenance shop practices with previous experience at the Journeyman level (Electrical and Mechanical Equipment systems)Must be able to use personal computers, MS Office (Word and Excel)Must have knowledge of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of algebraAble to read, analyze, write procedure manuals, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical, procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to effectively communicate through cell phone, email, conference calls, texting toolsKey Accountabilities
