Job description

Our client is looking for a Technology Manager for a 12 month contract, who is enthusiastic about development, lean methodologies, and performance metrics. This role is perfect for someone with a unique blend of project management (half project / scrum master), strategic consulting, and a strong development background.

Develop and advise on the technology strategy for the Commerce Platforms area.

Responsibilities

Develop and advise on the technology strategy for the Commerce Platforms area.

Organize and effectively communicate the execution of technology strategies across the organization.

Collect, organize, and produce reports and dashboards to support technology initiatives.

Assist in designing and rolling out updates to the SDLC process, incorporating JIRA changes.

Lead agile projects, manage project timelines, and facilitate scrum ceremonies as needed.

Champion change and engage stakeholders to address concerns while driving initiatives forward.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading technology transformation projects in an agile, lean environment.

Proficient in agile project management and serving as a scrum master, ensuring efficient and engaging ceremonies.

Advanced expertise in JIRA, including admin-level experience with workflows, custom fields, and automations.

Strong understanding of software development with prior hands-on development experience preferred.

Experience in consulting roles and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
