Your tasks as the Mechanical Millwright
Demonstrated working knowledge of lock-tag-try, hot work, line breaking and confined space entryPerform routine maintenance and repair associated with bearings, shafts, chains, conveyors, belts, sprockets, pumps, and related equipmentPerform routine maintenance and repairs associated with pneumatic, water and other related piping equipmentPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and resolve identified issues / problemsProcess industry standard cutting and welding skills, use of torch, stick welding, and wire weldingComprehensive knowledge of oils and lubrications, rigging of equipment, set up and alignment of machinery and equipmentOngoing personal development, including staying up to date on current millwright techniquesPerforms other duties as assigned by the maintenance leader and supervisors.The required qualifications of the Mechanical Millwright :
433A certificate of qualification as Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)High School Diploma or GED equivalency1-3 years manufacturing / industrial experience preferredParticipation and successful completion of workplace skills assessmentBe prepared to work a rotating 12-hour day / night shift (Includes weekends and holidays)Safety first mindsetHigh-level of personal standards related to attention to detail in approach to all tasksAbility to think under pressure and make quick decisionsDrive team expectations such as reliability, teamwork, and overall process improvementBe an active member to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivityPossess strong communication and interpersonal skillsWe are looking forward to hearing from you
