Position Overview
The ELC Educator will provide respectful, inclusive and quality programs by committing to :

- Make children and youth feel physically and emotionally safe & secure

- Guide inappropriate conduct by using positive guidance and behavior management practices

- Engage children in planning activities that provide opportunities to develop and enhance skills, based on their needs and wants
The ELC Educator will :
Plan and implement daily routines and maintain a high level of supervision and safety according to Provincial Licensing Regulations and ProceduresEnsure the quality of the ELC by adhering to Provincial Licensing RegulationsWork in a team based environmentApply and interpret Early Childhood Education developmentally appropriate practicesComplete forms as requiredEnd of shift daily cleanup.Maintain facility to highest safety standard; ensuring all toys / furniture / equipment are in good conditionMaintain attendance records and reportsRequired Skills : Applicants must have or be willing to obtain Phases I and II Play and Exploration training (paid training). First Aid / CPR Certification Early Childhood Education Certification (Compensation based on certified level)

Compensation
$43,804.80 - $56,243.20 per year
