We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate|Backup Coatings Processing Operator for our AFTERNOON SHIFT.

What You'll Do :

SPIROL Industries has an immediate opening for an addition to our Shipping Team for a Warehouse Associate|Backup Coatings Processing Operator who is detail orientated to work in our fast paced production environment. This position primarily supports warehouse operations, with secondary responsibilities as a back-up coatings processing operator to assist during high demand periods to cover absences.

Primary responsibility for preparation of shipments of finished products to customers including :

  • Ensuring all documentation required with the shipments is enclosed including packing slip, certifications, customer required forms, export papers, validating shipments etc.
  • Ensure all available shipments are made on or before the planned ship date and expedited orders are shipped as soon as received in the Shipping Department.
  • Understand and utilize all mechanical and safety features of equipment (Forklift)

Material handling responsibilities as required, including but not limited to :

  • Locate raw material from storage locations and physically move it to the required point of use location
  • Return unused material from machines or staging areas back to the raw material storage location
  • Perform the appropriate material transactions in the computer inventory system.
  • Unload trucks using a variety of material handling equipment.
  • Perform cycle counts or physical inventory counts.

    • Backup Coating Operator responsibilities include : (training provided)

  • Operator coating equipment at optimum efficiency
  • Visual and dimensional quality checks using inspection gauges
  • Maintain accurate data records
  • Use of certified PPE while handling coating mixture
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Maintain Line Cleanliness following standard operating procedures

    • What We're Looking For :

  • 1+ years forklift experience
  • Grade 12 Education
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Safety Shoes
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Ability to wear respirator when required
