Our Line / Prep cooks produce high-quality dishes using a variety of cooking methods. This dedicated team is passionate about all things food. They bring out the best in our menu and bring their best selves to work, perfecting the fundamentals and prepping for the next steps in their culinary careers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Cactus Club Cafe standards using a variety of cooking methods.
Contribute to a smooth kitchen operation by maintaining mise en place, timing, and plate presentation.
Support inventory checks for food items and ensure accurate stock levels.
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe and compliant kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Passion for food and cooking with a willingness to learn

Knowledge of food safety to meet high standards

Experience completing inventory checks for food items

Strong work ethic and drive to achieve individual, team and company goals

Food Safety Certification and commitment to food safety standards and regulations
