We are looking for a Director of Nonprime Finance! As a new initiative, this key leadership role will be responsible for managing and growing our nonprime finance operations across all dealerships within the group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, with extensive experience in auto finance, lender relationships and nonprime strategies. With multiple locations across the province, youll have the flexibility to choose the one that suits you best as your home base!
Core Responsibilities :
Develop, update, promote and implement effective Nonprime Finance strategies and processes for Bruce Auto Group
Implement processes and communication strategies aimed at maximizing the synergy between the nonprime department and the dealerships to ensure a seamless customer experience
Consistently track and measure the effectiveness of such strategies and results, and adjust as necessary
Effectively recruit, manage, train, coach and lead a team of centralized Nonprime Finance Specialists
Assist in the training of Sales Managers and Financial Services Managers at the dealerships for all topics around nonprime business
Provide regular and accurate data and reports on nonprime performance to the Senior Leadership Team and General Managers
Conduct regular meetings with the nonprime department to highlight successes, inform them on new products and programs from lenders, and discuss areas of improvement
Build and maintain a positive and engaging culture grounded in ethical business practices, synergy, accountability, innovation and performance
Establish and maintain long-lasting and productive relationships with subprime lenders
Assist management of the Business Development Center in implementing effective processes for handling nonprime leads
Assist in training and coaching the Approval Coordinators located at the BDC
Qualifications :
3 or more years of experience in Automotive Nonprime Finance
2 years of experience managing and leading a sales team
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to travel between our 10 locations, from New Minas to Yarmouth
Proven track record of success in managing lender relationships and securing nonprime financing
Highly driven, results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
