Job Description
We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our on-site lab, located in a busy medical practice. You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases as well as follow-up under the physician's guidance.
Responsibilities :
- Checking patients in
- Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients
- Prepare and store samples for routine testing and analysis
- Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
- Monitor inventory samples and supplies
- Preform some clerical duties such as scheduling, filing and following-up on test results under the physicians guidance
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a clinical technician or in phlebotomy
- Familiarity with common medical terminology
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong organizational skills
