We are looking for a talented individual to act as a security senior analyst. We are looking for driven and motivated IT professional who is looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing and exciting team in a challenging and evolving environment.

The position will be based in Montreal and will be reporting into the Director of Information Security.

Job description

• Develop and implement security solutions for a multiple functional area;
• Manage risk by analyzing the root cause of security issues, impact to business;
• Provide security oversight for new systems and major system releases by reviewing system security capabilities, recommending improvements and approving designs as part of the system development lifecycle;
• Coordinate and direct sessions with business and technical leaders regarding development and delivery of security solutions;
• Define secure configurations leveraging advanced technical knowledge and problem solving skills in the network, database, server and desktop technology areas;
• Identify the need for and develops new and improved procedures and process control manuals;
• Investigate security events for possible signs of intrusions;
• Participate in incident response as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree (BS / BA or equivalent combination of education / experience);
• Certification in security standards an asset;
• Desired one IS certifications or willingness to earn within 12 months of joining (CISM, CISA or Equivalent);
• 3+ years’ experience in an ISA environment (ISA provisioning, compliance reviews, incident / change management handling, security engineering or related IS field);
• Technical experience in security administration supporting a large user environment; solid understanding of industry standard security practices;
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Strong oral and written communications skills and bilingual;
• Strong Customer and Vendor relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations;
• Flexible and adaptive, collaborative team player;
• Ability to work well under pressure, to prioritize work, and to be well organized;
• Experience in infrastructure using IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, cloud computing in general and managed services.
