Credit Advisor (Hybrid) 18‑Month Contract
Prospera Credit Union is hiring a Credit Advisor for an 18‑month hybrid contract. The role focuses on delivering a best‑in‑class member experience through the loan application process.
What You’ll Do :
- Review, analyze, and verify mortgage application information—including financial statements, income documentation, property assessments, appraisals, and real estate contracts.
- Approve mortgages and lines of credit within established lending guidelines, ensuring consistent, objective, and sound credit decisions in a high‑volume environment.
- Act as a knowledge‑based resource for the Advice Centres and Prospera’s mortgage broker partners.
- Build and maintain relationships across the Advice Centre Network and with mortgage broker partners to understand borrower needs and collaborate on solutions.
- Continuously monitor, maintain, and prioritize Advice Centre and broker‑originated applications in real time to meet expectations, deadlines, and service level agreements.
What You Bring :
Minimum of 2‑3 years of mortgage lending experience with a deep understanding of complex mortgage applications.Ability to read, analyze, and comprehend financial statements, tax returns, and real‑estate documentation.Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with sound judgment and decision‑making abilities in a high‑volume environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills, conveying clear and concise messages.What We Offer :
