Senior Vendor Management Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Management Specialist to join our team in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee and optimize our vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with our Vendor Management Framework while supporting contract owners throughout the vendor lifecycle. You will play a pivotal role in developing processes, maintaining vendor records, and fostering efficient procurement practices to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with the organization's Vendor Management Framework throughout all vendor-related activities.
• Provide guidance and support to contract owners during the vendor lifecycle, including procurement, due diligence, contract management, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and enhance tools, processes, and systems to streamline vendor management activities.
• Maintain and update the vendor register and inventory, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist contract owners in evaluating vendor risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions to improve understanding and application of the Vendor Management Framework.
• Generate insights and performance reports to optimize vendor spending and decision-making processes.
• Oversee timely contract renewals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to address non-compliance or contract breaches.
• Update contract records to reflect vendor offboarding and contract terminations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract management.
• Strong understanding of vendor and contract management principles, including tools and best practices.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, adaptable to all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated flexibility, change management skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, and vendor management platforms.
