Looking for a compassionate and nurturing nanny to care for our toddler on a part-time live-out basis in Victoria, British Columbia.
The ideal candidate will have experience with toddler care and be able to provide gentle and attentive support to our little one.
Duties will include tending to the toddler's needs, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for our child.
We will have a newborn come March 2025, and we may need more help sometime down the line when my husband travels for work.
We would discuss this when the time comes and will give advance notice if we need additional hours some weeks. The newborn will solely be taken care of by us, so it's only our toddler who we will need the additional help with.
In addition to toddler care, meal preparation, and occasional light housekeeping duties will be expected to ensure a tidy and organized home environment.
I work from home, and so the only time we'd expect light housekeeping duties is when I have a break from work and would be doing something with our 2.
5 year old during your working hours. First aid / CPR training required. Hours of work would be 5 days a week, from 8 : 00 am to 1 : 00 pm.
When our second baby is due, and my husband is traveling, as noted above we may need longer hours some weeks.We are offering an hourly start rate of $20.
