ABOUT THE ROLE

As the newly appointed Event Coordinator for Million Dollar Sellers (MDS), you'll dive into the epicenter of e-commerce entrepreneurship, crafting and executing corporate events that embody the spirit of our community.

With over 600 members generating over $8 Billion annually, your role is crucial in creating immersive experiences that foster innovation, networking, and collaboration.

Your day-to-day will involve vendor liaising, logistical planning, and close collaboration with internal teams, ensuring each event, from concept to completion, aligns with MDS’s ethos and exceeds our high standards.

This fully remote role, requiring regular travel and a flexible schedule, offers you the canvas to innovate, impact, and inspire within the leading community of e-commerce entrepreneurs.

ABOUT YOU

You're stepping into a world where your creativity sparks events that become the talk of the e-commerce world. With at least 3 years under your belt in corporate event coordination, your expertise is the backbone of our event success.

Your background in hospitality, event management, or marketing has not just prepared you; it's propelled you.

As an MDS Event Coordinator, flexibility is your middle name, ready to jet off to any location to bring our events to life.

Your knack for adapting on the fly, managing timelines like a pro, and nurturing vendor relationships ensures every event is a standout.

Analytical yet imaginative, you weave together logistical threads to create event tapestries that dazzle and deliver.

Your professionalism, coupled with your positive, can-do attitude, keeps the energy high and the execution flawless, no matter the challenge.

With you at the helm, every MDS event is a seamless blend of brand alignment, community engagement, and pure, unforgettable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the liaison with vendors, ensuring our events reflect our ambitious standards and desired experience.
  • Coordinate every logistical aspect of our events, from the conceptual stages through to execution, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and AV setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community members to develop programming that achieves our event objectives, ensuring alignment with MDS's values and goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event participants, guaranteeing their experience is seamless and exceeds expectations.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-event evaluations, leveraging insights to continually enhance our event strategies and execution.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate event coordination, with a track record of managing large-scale events.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, event management, Marketing & Advertising, or related areas, or equivalent leadership experience in corporate event management.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and capability to travel as required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to manage relationships with a variety of vendors and partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and the ability to maintain positive energy in any situation.
  • Global Work Flexibility : Experience the ultimate freedom of a digital nomad lifestyle with MDS. Our 'office' is wherever you are, offering unparalleled flexibility to work from home, at a café, or while globe-trotting, as long as you're in sync with Eastern Time for key hours.

This flexibility ensures you can balance personal and professional life seamlessly.

Outcome-Driven Work Culture : At MDS, we prioritize results over rigid schedules. Manage your day according to your own rhythm, focusing on outcomes, not hours.

This approach grants you the freedom to handle personal tasks or indulge in leisure activities without compromising work quality.

  • Autonomous Time Management : Empower yourself with the autonomy to organize your tasks and schedule. We trust you to strike the perfect balance between work and personal life, fostering a healthy work-life integration.
  • Elite Networking Opportunities : Engage with over 650 leading e-commerce entrepreneurs in our network. These interactions are more than networking;

they are invaluable learning experiences, offering deep insights and the chance to forge lasting industry connections.

Exclusive Event Access : Represent MDS at exclusive, high-profile events, providing unique opportunities for professional development.

These events are gateways to new experiences, cultures, and a global professional network.

  • Dynamic Community of Innovators : Immerse yourself in an environment brimming with driven, like-minded professionals. This vibrant community encourages continuous personal growth, innovative thinking, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Continuous Professional Development : Stay at the forefront of e-commerce trends and strategies within our ever-evolving community.

Your journey with MDS ensures your professional development is always advancing.

Impactful Work : Your role at MDS allows you to make a tangible impact on our members and communities growth and success.

This sense of purpose and visible impact adds a fulfilling dimension to your career, transcending traditional job satisfaction metrics.

Work-Life Synergy : We embrace the synergy between work and life as essential to your overall well-being. Our culture supports a harmonious integration of both, leading to a more balanced and rewarding lifestyle.
