The Purchasing Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The Purchasing Manager oversees purchasing activity for all companies.

Responsibilities :

• Strategize and negotiate with suppliers in order to acquire most cost-effective deals and reduce procurement expenses.
• Develop specifications and requirements for products and services for the business where applicable.
• Create buying strategy taking company budget and co supplies, finding suitable vendors.
• Meet with department heads to understand the needs of the company.
• Review request for RFPs.
• Research suppliers and vendors that meet goals of the company.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts understanding price points, secure advantageous terms.
• Perform root-cause analysis for supplier commercial and delivery errors and make recommendations for changes to eliminate causes.
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Preparing procurement reports for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Skills / Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations in manufacturing.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Management and leadership skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess substantial proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
