Desktop technician

Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation and is seeking a motivated individual to develop their printing and document management systems. By joining a dynamic and inclusive team you will participate in a large-scale project with a direct impact on the efficiency of public services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Participate in the implementation of systems in stores and ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct rigorous follow-up with stores (quality control).
- Provide software expertise for solution integration.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Provide analysts with relevant information to facilitate problem resolution.
- Train store users and internal teams on the deployed systems.
- Ensure the clarity and compliance of documentation; test processes with different user profiles.
- Provide level 2 support to the help desk.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
- Valid drivers license and vehicle for occasional travel to branches.
- Experience with ticketing systems and tools such as ServiceNow.
- Good knowledge of IT technologies and environments.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and a focus on user experience.
- Interest in continuous learning and process improvement.
- 2 to 5 years of experience as an IT support technician/help desk technician.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50 000$85 000. This role is an existing vacancy.
