We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager for a well established automotive client of ours in the Peel district area. The Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring commitment to the quality of product, monitoring day to day plant performance and an overall leader who thrives on working and improving the team environment .

Some of the Manager duties includes but not limited to :
1. Demonstrate a commitment to the core values and principles of organization.
2. Demonstrate a commitment to the quality of product and service that equates or exceeds the standards of organization.
3. Demonstrate and uphold the Health & Safety policies and procedures of the organization.
4. Dedicated and qualified plating person upon completion of five years of plating and surface finishing experience (could be achieved with combination of formal chemistry / chemical engineering education and / or experience)
5. Monitor and report on plant QMS / EMS objectives on a monthly basis. Prepare reports for Management Review meetings.
6. Responsible for overall plant performance including but not limited to planning, scheduling, training, monitoring, delivery, suppliers,
compliance (legal, regulatory, statutory and QMS / EMS).
7. Work with sales team to facilitate customers RFQ, Trials, OEM Specifications and APQP.
8. Conduct regular meetings with suppliers for product / process improvements and QMS objectives.
9. Lead plant CI projects.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
11. Demonstrate competence to carry out duties of Supervisor under the Occupational Health and Safety act.
12. Maintain compliance to all health and safety standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to Lock-out / Tag-
out, Confined Space entry, use and care of fall arrest equipment, handling / storage of drums and spill management.
13. Is the owner of following processes :
with Corp. QA Manager and QC Supervisors)
14. Working in the plant will require use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment :
Qualifications
1. Post – secondary education with at least minimum five years of working experience in a management / supervisory role in manufacturing environment (automotive experience is an asset).
2. Familiarity with electroplating processes is an asset.
3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blue prints.
4. Experience in basic fundamentals of planning.
5. Previous experience with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards is an asset.
6. Experience in effective customer and supplier communication to maintain relationships.

9. Plant works 3 shifts and looking for someone who will be willing to work flexible hours when needed
