We are looking to fill the position of Road Crew at FernieAlpine Resort . When guests come to our hill they oftencomment on the beauty of the surrounding scenery, how breath taking themountains are, and most importantly, how well maintained the roadways areespecially in the middle of winter. The ideal candidate will be anexcellent communicator and team player. You Will :

  • Be responsible for snow removal and maintenance ofFAR roads / parking / utilities in a timely manner after snow falls
  • Be responsible for maintaining and removing largesnow banks from lots, plaza, and road sides to ensure proper drainage
  • Be responsible to ensure all basic vehicle checksand maintenance is being done
  • Be responsible for installation and maintenance ofequipment chains
  • Report any equipment problems to the VehicleMaintenance department
  • Know and adhere to the policies, rules andprotocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • Know and follow all safe work proceduresincluded in the Safety Management Program
  • Know and comply with all expectations of theInjury Management / Return-to-Work Programs
  • Perform other tasks and duties that areapplicable

You Have :

  • Confidence and efficiency in operating allresort equipment (grader, loader, bobcat, gravel trucks, Bulldozers andsnowcats)
  • The ability to work alone or in a team environment and are reliable
  • Willingness to work shifts - both nighttime, earlymornings, and weekends
  • A valid driver’s license required
  • A Class 3 license with air brake endorsement is anasset but not required
  • A reliable personal vehicle
