Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) professional for a Temporary role located in Kitimat, BC. This role offers a competitive pay range of $60.50 - $90.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in PMO governance, project management methodologies, and performance reporting. You will play a key role in coordinating project delivery and supporting workstream leads in maintaining project standards and schedules.

  • Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, processes, and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies and assist in the development of PMO policies and procedures.
  • Provide up-to-date program documentation including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring project performance, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure quality and compliance with program standards and processes.
  • Facilitate communication between program stakeholders and organize program meetings, reviews, and workshops.
  • Prepare agendas, gather input, and disseminate information to relevant parties.
  • Provide coaching and support to workstream and initiative leads on project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Assist in knowledge sharing sessions and capture lessons learned to improve other workstreams.
  • Support project teams in planning and resourcing.
  • Strong focus on stakeholder management and driving change in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in leading and coaching multi-discipline teams.
  • Background in supply chain management (asset management, engineering, procurement, warehousing, inventory).
  • Lean qualifications or experience is a plus.
  • Formal project management qualifications are preferred.
  • Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in a PMO environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to lead and support multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Background in supply chain management (asset management, engineering, procurement, etc.).
  • Lean or formal project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in driving change management processes and adapting project methodologies in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Technical proficiency or domain expertise in supply chain or related fields is a plus.
