Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Cook to fill a Casual position at Dunrovin Park Lodge.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and working within the scope of Regional Northern Health (NH) Policies and Processes, the NH Regional Food Safety Plan and the NH Regional Food Sanitation Plan, this position performs duties related to the preparation and cooking of food items; portioning and serving food, washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and designated cooking / workstations. Responsible for assigning tasks to designated Food Service Workers.

Dunrovin Park Lodge

Dunrovin Park Lodge is a 91-bed Intermediate Care residential facility with 19 Special Care beds. It provides respite services and an adult day program. The Quesnel and area palliative care’s hospice care beds are also located in this facility, for a total of 117 beds facility wide.

Quesnel is a small city with big opportunity. It boasts a vibrant, creative and family friendly lifestyle, rich with culture and community spirit. The city is nestled on the banks of the Quesnel and Fraser rivers, and has a diverse population of 23,000 people. The major industries include forestry, agriculture, mining and tourism.
