Senior Content Designer (Bilingual – English / French)
Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Montreal
12-24 month contract with potential for full-time conversion
37.5 hrs / week, Monday to Friday
We’re hiring a Bilingual Senior Content Designer (English / French) on behalf of one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. This is a contract opportunity to help shape the future of digital banking experiences, specifically within the online banking app, focusing on payment-related features that support millions of users in their day-to-day financial lives.
As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll collaborate within a cross-functional squad of designers, researchers, and developers to identify client problems, develop thoughtful content solutions, and ensure clarity, accessibility, and engagement across digital touchpoints. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about content-first design.
What you’ll do
- Craft clear, client-focused content across the user experience (labels, instructions, microcopy, metadata, error messages, etc.)
- Define and implement content strategies that improve product usability and engagement
- Collaborate with Interaction and Visual Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Researchers
- Participate in research, testing, and iterative design activities
- Ensure content meets legal, compliance, and accessibility standards
- Advocate for inclusive, bilingual (English / French) design principles and maintain consistency within the design system
