Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Analyze the Material Cost proposed changes by investigating and documenting the driving factors, ensuring they are aligned to the Budget Costs – document the review and prepare supporting documentation
• Create and update BOMs, Routes, and associated costing activities for new and existing part numbers
• Prepare weekly inventory reporting of Raw / WIP / MRO Inventory and daily production to-stock reporting
• Prepare and reconcile month-end inventory reports to the General Ledger
• Process the associated journal entries including preparation, recording and collection of supporting documentation
• Complete the final month-end to-stock reporting and prepare the associated Cost of Production journal entries, including preparation, recording, and collection of supporting documentation
